KIRSTEN FORSYTHE, CRNP
Kirsten obtained her Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners along with a Masters of Science degree from Tennessee Tech University in 2013. Her Nurse Practitioner's specialty board certification is in Family Practice. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees at Goucher College and John Hopkins University respectively.
While obtaining her extensive collection of degrees, Kirsten spent much of her time focused on helping abused and neglected children along with physically and mentally disabled adults. She furthered her experience as a nurse working in as many capacities as should could - including surgical, trauma, spine, and physical rehab (joint replacements); and home care. She even worked for a remote clinic in the mountains of Tennessee for a community that had no access to other medical care.
Kirsten loves taking a holistic approach to medicine and enjoys working with patients who have acute and chronic conditions ranging from headaches to musculoskeletal symptoms. She also works with upper and lower extremity conditions such as plantar fasciitis. She has worked with men and women of all ages and has a special place in her heart for working with the underprivileged and those on the Autism spectrum. She has a fantastic personality to go with her credentials as well.
